For some time now, we’ve been working on a side project and we want to inform you openly instead of launching it silently. You’ve always trusted us and we value that trust transparency is essential to us. We also believe this new project will ultimately benefit Treasura as well. [b]💡 Why are we launching a side project?[/b] Treasura is currently stable, but as a team and a company, we need to keep growing. Launching this project will allow us to: - generate more income to keep living from making Open Tibia servers, covering expenses, and reinvesting into Treasura and Grimera (development, marketing, hiring, etc.), - reach a different part of the OTS community (players, streamers, creators), - [b]and even promote Treasura itself there will be a possibility to transfer premium coins from the side project to Treasura. [/b] [b]⚔️ What is this new project?[/b] It’s called <a href="https://grimera.online/">Grimera.online</a> a Tibia 8.0 real map server based on Treasura but built as its own standalone world without Treasura myths and content. Grimera will feature low experience stages, higher loot and skill rates, custom hunting areas and monsters from higher Tibia versions and unique systems like Boosted Creatures, Wings, Auras, Legendary items and more. It’s not a hardcore RPG like Treasura it’s designed to be more PvP and fun-oriented. [b]💎 Does this mean Treasura is abandoned?[/b] Absolutely not! Treasura will continue to be developed we’ll deliver everything promised (INQ, Bestiary, Proxy, new content, etc.). We have long-term plans for Treasura it’s our passion project and we’ll never give it up. We hope you understand our decision we want to stay transparent with you. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to message us directly. Grimera is for players who like fast leveling and bigger loot. Treasura is for players who prefer slower progress and a more relaxed experience. There’s no need to worry about a lack of players on Treasura both servers will attract different types of players. | Lepra Profession: Elite Knight Level: 107 Posts: 1 | Been playing on open Tibia servers for ages and all the servers sooner or later struggled with one thing: dying as its aging. Reason was the same, constant 'seeking' for development and pleasing 'all gamers'. (Look even into RL tibia these days) My personal opinion: This server got me charmed with its stability and slow pace and opening another one will start process of dying this server on long term because like it or not even 'trusted players' will 'have a go' on the new one and can (and probably will) eventually migrate to it, and abandon the old one. And the game starts again. Shortly but with sense. To me: not good idea. |

| Gavoo Profession: Elite Knight Level: 181 Posts: 1 | You probably expect that the most opinions of current server residents will be negative. It's normal, but please don't make a mistake being blindly focused on potential earnings. Development is always praised, but in my opinion this one will not go in the right direction. For better performance and earnings you should focus 100% not 50% on current server, contact the marketing specialist and money that goes for new server should be spent for better advertising than Gorgo annoying mentions on his videos. Going for non p2w cosmetics items, new areas, quests, much more events than 2-3 pear year (1 per 2 months is relevant), and some special features (following the growth of RL tibia that gave them more players) that will not kill hardcore RPG mode- you can look what is good in RL tibia and try to implement similar features with light mode to treasura. The potential is much higher than anyone think. But what if I know that even anyone's opinion similar to mine here - you will go for grimera start but you it will be my guilty pleasure when you will read or remind my comment in the future (1-3 years) and you will think "hmm this guy had a good idea after all". |
